Esther Polland

She previously served on the UJC Executive Committee representing the Large Intermediate Federations. She is a former member of the National Women’s Philanthropy Board and the National Young Leadership Cabinet. Esther is a past president of the Jewish Federation of Greater Houston and served two terms as its campaign chair and also chair of its women’s campaign. She continues to be an active member of the Board of Trustees and also serves on the Board and Executive Committee of the Houston Jewish Community Foundation. Esther has served on numerous other boards and has had a special interest in the renaissance of Hillel. She served on the Hillel/FJCL Board of Directors and Executive Committee and recently completed three years as President of the Board of Texas Hillel at the University of Texas in Austin, her alma mater.
