Joseph R Hanley

Joseph R. Hanley has been vice president of technology planning and services since 2004. He is responsible for a variety of corporate functions including enterprise strategic planning, technology vendor and industry relations, technology and policy support of corporate growth initiatives, and technology assessment. Hanley joined TDS in 1988 and has held a series of positions in engineering, product management, product development, customer operations, technology assessment, and strategy formulation. Most recently, he was vice president of strategic planning and emerging applications at TDS Telecom. Hanley serves on the board of directors of the Alliance for Telecommunications Industry Solutions, and on the board and executive committee of the Center for Telecom Management at the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business. He received an MBA from Arizona State University and a BS in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
