Carrie Fisher

Born Oct. 21, 1956 in Beverly Hills, CA to “America’s Sweethearts” of the era, actress Debbie Reynolds and crooner Eddie Fisher, the future star was Hollywood royalty. When Fisher was two years old and her brother Todd an infant, her father left her mother for a recently widowed Elizabeth Taylor – culminating in the biggest Hollywood love triangle of the 1950s. She dropped out of Beverly Hills High School to focus on her acting career, enrolling in London’s Central School of Speech and Drama. She made her film debut in the “Shampoo,” (1975). Her survivors include her mother; her brother, Todd; her daughter, Billie Lourd, from a relationship with the talent agent Bryan Lourd; and her half sisters, Joely Fisher and Tricia Leigh Fisher, the daughters of Eddie Fisher and Connie Stevens.
