James M. Frates

Mr. Frates has been Senior Vice President Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Alkermes since April 2007. From June 1998 to April 2007 Mr. Frates served as Vice President Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer of Alkermes. From June 1996 to June 1998 he was employed at Robertson Stephens & Company most recently as a Vice President in Investment Banking. Prior to that time he was employed at Morgan Stanley & Co. Mr. Frates currently serves on the Board of Directors of GPC Biotech AG a biotechnology company and is a national director of the Association of Bioscience Financial Officers from 2004 to 2009.
