Doug Harrison founded The SCOOTER Store in 1991 with his wife Susanna. Under his leadership, the company has grown from one small store in New Braunfels, Texas, to a multi-million dollar company with more than 2,600 employees in 48 states that has changed the lives of more than 500,000 customers. Mr. Harrison also takes pride in the 40% employee-ownership of the company. Mr. Harrison graduated from the Colorado School of Mines in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science degree in petroleum engineering. More than any business accomplishment he could ever achieve, Mr. Harrison is most proud of his three children: Abby, Trevor and Lauren
