Mr. George G. Mueller is the Co-Founder and Chairman of Color Kinetics Inc. He is also a Co-Founder at ISI and Founder and Managing Director at Mueller Ventures. Mr. Mueller co-founded Color Kinetics in 1997 and has served as the Chief Executive Officer of Color Kinetics Inc., since 1997 (for eight years) and the Chairman of the Board from 1997 until January 1, 2007. He also served as the President at Color Kinetics Inc. until September 2001 and a Director at the firm ... since 1997. Mr. Mueller was instrumental in spearheading the company’s technical innovation, navigating its growth, and fostering the early adoption of intelligent solid state lighting across a number of emerging markets. He co-founded, and from 1994 to 1997 served as Chief Operating Officer and Director of Internet Securities Incorporated. He is a Member of Advisory Board at Cue Ball Venture Strategies and The Cue Ball Group, LLC. Mr. Mueller is the author of 20 United States and international patents and several dozen pending applications pertaining to Color Kinetics core technology. He is a frequent speaker among the academic community and presents regularly at the nations top business schools including: Harvard, MIT, Boston, Babson, Carnegie Mellon University, and the Kauffman Center for Entrepreneurial leadership. Mr. Mueller was named Ernst and Young’s New Entrepreneur of the year in 2005, named to Boston Business Journal Top 40 under 40 in 2004, and is recognized as a successful and innovative entrepreneur. He received dual (major) undergraduate degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering and a minor in Fine Art from Carnegie Mellon University. Mr. Mueller completed courses in the Graduate School of Industrial Administration.
