Edward J Cooney

Vice President and Treasurer of Nortek, Inc., holds a bachelors degree in Economics and Accounting from the College of the Holy Cross. A member of the A.T. Cross Company and Leonard Valve Company Board of Directors, he serves as the Chair of the A.T. Cross Audit Committee and is on their Compensation Committee. Mr. Cooney also serves on the Board of Directors of Trustees of Care New England, Kent Hospital, Gilbane Inc., Greater Providence Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Rhode Island Commodores. He holds a masters degree in taxation from Bryant College and is a Certified Public Accountant. He was past-president of the North Kingstown Town Council (2004-2008). He is a director of Gilbane Inc. and Vice Chair of Care New England and past Chairman of the Kent Hospital Board.
