Dr. Cooper is the founder and Chairman of Vericare, Inc., a provider of mental health services to patients in long-term care facilities, since 1991. Dr. Cooper also is an adjunct professor at the Columbia University School of Business. Dr. Cooper is a director of Hanger Orthopedic Group, Inc., the largest operator of orthotic and prosthetic patient care centers in the United States, and IPC The Hospitalist Company, Inc., a leading provider of hospitalist services in the United States.
