Jason Kinney

At 13, Jason Kinney helped run his mother’s campaign for state Senate. Today, he is a Sacramento-based public affairs consultant and political communications expert. He worked on the official transition team for Gov. Gavin Newsom, and he is a senior strategist to California Senate Democrats and Sacramento Mayor Darrell Steinberg. Kinney, a former partner at California Strategies, was the statewide spokesperson for the Yes on Proposition 64 campaign and has written speeches for governors, celebrity CEOs and presidential candidates.
