Shi Yuzhu

One of China's most venerated investors, based in part on successful picks such as China Minsheng Banking and Hua Xia Bank. Giant Interactive, the Shi-led, Shanghai-based online game company that listed on the New York Stock Exchange in 2007, has had a rougher time amid tough competition and changing demographics in China. Giant in December said it had formed a joint venture with Huayi Brothers Media, a movie production company, to jointly develop a new online game, King of Kings III. Shi has also invested in small-cap shares in China, such as Inner Mongolia Jinyu Group, whose businesses include vaccines and property. Holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Zhejiang University.
