Mr. Fazio was named President of the U.S. Division effective January 2008. He became President of St. Jude Medical’s newly formed Cardiovascular Division in January 2007. Mr. Fazio was named President of St. Jude Medical’s Cardiac Surgery business in August 2004. He was appointed President of SJM Europe in July 2001. His preceding role was President, Health Care Services for St. Jude Medical, in which he was responsible for building the National Accounts function and for managing cross-divisional contracting opportunities. Mr. Fazio joined St. Jude Medical's Cardiac Surgery business in 1992 and served beginning January 1997 as the General Manager of St. Jude Medical Canada, Inc., based in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, until being named President, Health Care Services. Prior to St. Jude Medical, Fazio spent eight years with the Davis & Geck Division of American Home Products, promoting their surgical products. He served in the roles of Marketing - Product Manager, Sales Management, Sales Training, and Sales Representative. Mr. Fazio holds a B.S. from the State University of New York at Albany and an M.B.A. from the Fordham University Graduate School of Business.
