Charlotte R Bloomberg

Mrs. Bloomberg was born Charlotte Rubens in Jersey City in 1909. She received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from New York University in 1929. She married William H. Bloomberg in 1934. The family moved to Medford in 1945, where Mrs. Bloomberg raised her children, volunteered and worked as an office manager in Boston. William Bloomberg died in 1963. In her 90s, she was co-president of her synagogue, Temple Shalom. In addition to her son, Mrs. Bloomberg is survived by her daughter, Marjorie B. Tiven, five grandchildren and three-great-grandchildren.
