Alan H Cohen

Mr. Alan Henry Cohen is a Senior Managing Director and Member of Senior Management Committee at York Capital Management. He joined the firm in 1998. Mr. Cohen is the Portfolio Manager of York’s Credit funds. He oversees research and investment in credit, high yield and distressed securities for the firm as a whole. Previously, Mr. Cohen was at Franklin Mutual Advisors as a Portfolio Manager specializing in high yield and distressed securities. He was a high yield and distressed debt Trader and Analyst at Goldman, Sachs & Company and at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. Mr. Cohen holds a B.S. in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
