Michael Kennedy

Mr. Kennedy has over 20 years experience in corporate finance and accounting both in the United States and the UK. He has a broad range of experience in both small and large corporations. Prior to joining MSA, Mr. Kennedy was the Chief Financial Officer of Fiber Optic Services for over 10 years, a telecommunications company based in New York. In that position, he steered the company financially through a period of rapid growth. Mr. Kennedy began his professional career in London with Ladbrokes PLC and then Nortel UK, Ltd. During his tenure at Nortel, Mr. Kennedy held a variety of accounting and financial positions. Mr. Kennedy was transferred to the US on assignment by Nortel as a Financial Controller in 1990. He moved permanently to the US in 1992, joining Atlas Copco, a Swedish international maker of construction equipment, as a Divisional Controller. He graduated from University College Dublin, Ireland in 1983.
