James P King

Mr. King is currently the Government Lawyer in Residence at the Government Law Center of Albany Law School, as well as Distinguished Jurist in Residence at Siena College. Mr. King has served as General Counsel of the NYS Department of State, Judge of the NYS State Court of Claims, NYS Assemblyman, Assistant Attorney General in New York State, and ranking Judge Advocate in the Marine Corps. He has broad legal experience and professional experience with New York’s legislative process. Mr. King received his LLM from George Washington University, his LLB from Albany Law School, and his BA from Westminster College.
