Became vice president of marketing for the bowl in 2006, resigned 2011 after a report said he accepted reimbursement for political contributions he had made. The 47-year-old, who denies the allegation, previously was vice president and general manager of Cingular in Arizona and New Mexico. His fiscal 2010 compensation at the bowl was $219,019.
