Mr. Istel has been a Senior Advisor to Rothschild, Inc., an international investment bank, since April 2002, and was Vice Chairman of Rothschild, Inc. from 1993 to April 2002. He was previously Chairman of Wasserstein Perella & Co. International and Managing Director of Wasserstein Perella & Co., Inc. from 1988 to 1992. Mr. Istel also serves as a director of Imperial Sugar Company, a processor and marketer of refined sugar, and Compagnie Financiere Richemont S.A., the parent group owning luxury good companies, including Cartier and Montblanc.
