Pathway options will be mapped to a set of core competencies, and students will make progress through their curriculum by demonstrating mastery in each course or learning experience. Although the pathways may vary and there are no grade levels, the outcomes for students are clearly articulated: grit aptitudes, Common Core State Standards, 21st century skills, and early college experiences. A small team of full-time Lead Teachers will deliver courses at the high school, supported by a large team of adjunct faculty and staff, including certified instructors, tutors, visiting experts, and support staff. The school will partner with the Highlander Institute to back its next gen staffing approach.
