I made the transition from general partner to senior advisor in July 2012. I am still active with the fund, but not on a day-to-day basis.
Vanedge Capital is a venture capital fund focused on investments in interactive entertainment, digital media businesses and IT. It is based in Vancouver, BC, and is one of the largest funds of its kind in Canada.
Together with Paul Lee, I launched the fund in 2008, we raised the $136M+ for Vanedge I, and I saw it through its first few years and investments before stepping away from day-to-day operations in July 2012. Vanedge I is producing strong returns for its investors, and Vanedge II has now been successfully launched. I am a Senior Advisor for both funds. |
