mediaX is a self-funded, university-industry Stanford research network that Byron Reeves and I co-founded in 2002. As executive director, I played a leading role in building the program, negotiating research partnerships with over thirty large technology companies around the world, and allocating over $2.5M of seed funding to Stanford research projects across the entire campus.
