Lauren was a founding staff member of Google's Family Programs Team where she launched childcare benefits to Googlers. She specifically focused on developing Pre-kindergarten curriculum and content, long-term project work based on children's interest and educator observations. She planned and developed classroom environments based on learning styles and community needs. Operationally she developmented and created sustainable systems and tools used in daily, weekly and quarterly communication with clients, conducted weekly team meetings that keep projects, planning and systems on schedules, provided excellent customer service for 25 Googlers and 25 non-Googlers annually, organized introduction meetings with clients and tracked performance and satisfaction through client feedback.
Financially, she was accountable for budget planning, tracking, and expense of purchases.
Lauren assisted in creation, organization and on-going needs of staffing schedules and systems of upwards of 60 people.
She planned and facilitated internal Childcare events, 50-200 attendees- responsible for budget, planning, marketing, and day of events.
Lauren's external speaking engagements focused on curriculum development, project planning and alternative classroom materials with as many as 250 participants at local and national conferences. Internally, Lauren created material for educating Googlers worldwide through the Pilot Parent Education series; specifically- Developing A Love For Reading, Children’s Friendship and Sibling Relationships.
