We are pleased to offer SSATB’s support to the Center for Curriculum Redesign. SSATB’s mission of “providing unparalleled leadership and service in meeting the admission assessment and enrollment needs of schools, students, and families” will be fully realized through strategic partnerships with forward thinking organizations like CCR. Both CCR and SSATB share a desire to innovate and educate, so that students will be assessed and will build the requisite skills for success in a global and interconnected world.
As SSATB works to shape the future of admission assessment in the independent school community, our partnership with CCR in the development of the 21st century assessment tools will support our member schools in their selection process. CCR’s vision to challenge, explore, and redefine curriculum is critical to the future of each learner. CCR’s central mission of curriculum redesign supports independent schools mission to seek, enroll, and educate students with the knowledge, character, and competencies that will allow them to be global leaders in this conceptual age. Our assessments and CCR’s critical work must speak to these interests and commitments.
We are confident that the relationship between CCR and SSATB will result in a constructive dialogue about what it means to be educated in the 21st century. Further, we know that this partnership will inspire SSATB to create assessments for the independent school community which underscore key attributes of global and digital learning.
We welcome this opportunity to work closely with CCR to define and build the future landscape for 21st century assessment, in order to serve our community of schools and educators. Here’s to further dialogue, collective research, and strategic thinking between CCR and SSATB.
