Mr. Charles Fadel
Founder and Chairman,
Center for Curriculum Redesign
Visiting Practitioner, Harvard University Graduate School of Education Cambridge, MA 01451
Dear Charles:
It is with great pleasure that we accept on behalf of the Partnership for 21st Century Skills, your generous offer to become an observer organization of the Center for Curriculum Redesign. From its inception over a decade ago, P21 has been a strong advocate for ensuring every child acquires the knowledge and skills necessary for success in the 21st century. P21 believes that a strong education must fuse the 3 Rs (core subjects), with the 4 Cs (critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and creativity) to prepare children to be college and career ready for today’s and tomorrow’s every-changing world.
P21 applauds the vision of CCR to redesign curricula for the 21st Century that is both relevant and engaging, and goes beyond core content. P21 is appreciative of the opportunity to be a part of this much needed conversation and work.
Sincerely,
Frank Gallagher, Steven L. Paine, Ed.D., Chair President |
