Congratulations Viv White
Viv White, CEO of Big Picture Education Australia, has been awarded the Order of Australia for her services to education and to the reengagement of young people in learning for life.
Viv’s journey began in disadvantaged schools and has included leading the Australian National Schools Network (ANSN) - Australia’s only national network of school reformers - and establishing the Victorian Schools Innovation Commission (VSIC).
The Big Picture design is internationally recognised as a breakthrough redesign for schools. With over 41 schools nationally and 200 internationally, the network is expanding in reach and influence as the value of passion-based education is realised.
ALL recently appointed Viv to the Passion Index reference panel in Australia.
The panel meets regularly, acting as critical friends to challenge, inform and provide advice on the structure and content of the Passion Index and assessing its impact and value on student learning and attitudes to learning.
