The former Florida attorney general Pam Bondi will assist the West Wing as a senior adviser and legal guru, who can help to make President Donald Trump’s case on TV… Bondi is well-liked and trusted by the president, as well as by Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner, his daughter and son-in-law, who are senior White House advisers… Bondi worked for Trump’s transition team and was rumored to have been offered White House jobs in 2017 and 2018. But the government jobs never panned out, in part because Bondi wanted a position that reported directly to the president and also because she could earn more in the private sector.
She began working with Brian Ballard, the president’s former lobbyist in Florida, and has also been mentioned as a Fox News personality, having appeared on the network with regularity and even once co-hosting its hit show “The Five” while still attorney general. |
