issues for the newspapers owned by The Wagga Daily Advertiser Pty Ltd
which included the following publications: The Daily Advertiser (Wagga
Wagga), The Area News (Griffith), The Irrigator (Leeton), The Australian
Senior (Tuggerah), The Victorian Senior (Melbourne), Southern Cross
(Junee), The Riverine Grazier (Hay), and The Riverina Leader (Wagga
Wagga).
Newspapers in the Group had a combined monthly circulation of more than one million copies.As Group Editor responsibilities included the free-flow of information
and editorial content, defamation/legal issues relating to all editorial
and advertising departments, group purchases including computer
systems, co-ordination of group training, group editorial policy, group
representation to the Board of Directors, group staff mediation and
management. |
