Notes COMMUNITY THROUGH PARTNERSHIP The Dallas Education Foundation is inspired every day by the creativity and innovation we see in our Dallas ISD classrooms. We believe our city and our communities are strengthened by each student who graduates ready to lead a successful life. As the non-profit, philanthropic partner of Dallas ISD, we align with the District’s strategic initiatives and partner with our city’s business leaders, residents and philanthropic community to raise funds for programs that enrich the lives of our students. DONATE NOW OUR MISSION / OUR VISION The mission of the Dallas Education Foundation is to inspire community investment to accelerate student success. Our vision is a galvanized community whose resources support the transformative work that makes Dallas ISD the preferred choice for families across North Texas. We believe in the future of Dallas, and we ask you to join us as we invest in our students, teachers and schools to create greater opportunities for every child in Dallas ISD. DONATE NOW ABOUT DALLAS ISD Dallas ISD is over 150,000 students in pre-kindergarten through the 12th grade, in 220+ schools across 384 square miles in the cities of Dallas, Cockrell Hill, Seagoville, Addison, Wilmer and parts of Carrollton, Cedar Hill, DeSoto, Duncanville, Farmers Branch, Garland, Grand Prairie, Highland Park, Hutchins, Lancaster and Mesquite. The District is the second-largest public-school district in the state, and the 16th-largest district in the nation. With 86% of its students qualifying for free or reduced lunch, Dallas ISD has infinite needs in and beyond the classroom. Despite these challenges, the District has made significant gains over the last six years and is considered one of the fastest improving public school districts in the nation by the Council of Great City Schools.
