Impact Investments are investments made into companies, organizations and funds with the intention to generate social and environmental impact alongside a financial return. Opportunities in Impact Investing are attracting a variety of investors around the world, including fund and wealth managers, insurance companies, institutional investors, development finance institutions and philanthropic foundations.
Social Impact Bonds
The Social Impact Bond, also known as the Pay for Success model, is a groundbreaking approach to financing effective social programs. At its essence, the Social Impact Bond is a performance-based contract between social service providers, investors, governments and other stakeholders, whereby financial returns for investors are generated by positive social outcomes.
New Impact Synergy: Midot Joins SFI
The impact sector in Israel received a strong tailwind from Midot joining the SFI group. This is a groundbreaking move, which will incorporate in one organization all of the capabilities of the two groups, including impact measurement, management consulting, developing innovative solutions to social programs, sourcing new sources of capital, all in the name of promoting effective social services across the entire ecosystem. This combination maximizes the capabilities and leadership positions of the two organizations, creating a whole that is greater than the sum of its parts that can support and collaborate with players across sectors and industries.
