Dr. Jimmerson specializes in creating and implementing student-focused experiences designed to engage creative thinking and problem solving. She is a professor, researcher, and professional development expert. Denine's experience consists of integrating creative tools in the teaching and learning cycle, including game-based learning and animation. Denine’s experience stems from 20 years in the field of youth services and urban education, bringing modern learning into the 21st century classroom. Dr. Jimmerson has also been working in the field of special education, designing curriculum and managing specific projects for large urban districts. Most notably, she designed, implemented and managed the middle school after school program for New York City's District 75 - America's largest special education district. |
