Precision Learning Center, a UC-Stanford collaborative multi-disciplinary center, is working in partnership with the UCSF Dyslexia Center to transform education through neuroscience and technology. One of the projects we are excited about is AppRISE, a neuroscience-based gamified app to assess school readiness and dyslexia-risk, and to identify dyslexia phenotypes. Current progress include literacy and cognitive app development with a future goal to add games on numeracy and socio-emotional processing, and adding resources and strategies for families and teachers. The ultimate goal is closing the achievement gap for all. |
