Black Swan International (BSI) has the pleasure of welcoming Shane Harden as its new General Manager. Shane takes over from Brent Thomson who finished with us in late November 2021 after 5 years in the business. Brent successfully managed the expansion of the business in challenging times and leaves a lasting legacy in terms of the professionalism displayed by BSI managers and employees.
Shane’s appointment as General Manager brings BSI a wealth of experience in all facets of security and senior management that has been built on his experience in the Australian Army followed by senior management security roles in PNG. Most recently Shane has held senior appointments in security management for a global conglomerate both in Bangladesh and Indonesia. This experience will see Shane enhance BSI operations to ensure that our current clients’ expectations are exceeded whilst he continues to grow the business in line with our reputation across PNG and forge new relationships across the communities that we work and serve.
Shane has recently arrived back in PNG where he will be based with the BSI Headquarters team in Port Moresby. It is his intent to visit all our regional offices early in 2022. BSI currently services 25 locations and employs over 2000 staff members across PNG. Our services include armed and unarmed guards, VIP transportation, mobile patrols, dog handlers, crowd control, major events security, and property protection.
