Service One is a Bendigo Alliance bank with its headquarters in the ACT and serves the Canberra Region. As Chairman of the board of Service One Alliance Bank, I am responsible (together with my board colleagues) in developing and formulating strategy for the business, together with monitoring and questioning the progress against that strategy by the management team. As a director am also responsible for all the usual fiduciary responisibilities of that as a director. Service One has switched from being an ADI institution to that of an Alliance Bank and as such as freed up capital and is looking to invest in Social Enterprise where it can make a social impact with its investments, especially where there is a multiplier effect with other parties.
