A Slovak nationalist group called NV Europa, led by Jozef Hambalek, is sharing the compound with the Night Wolves.
The Night Wolves are under US sanctions, having been accused of providing military assistance to pro-Russian rebels in Ukraine. The military-style base in Dolna Krupa, which is set up inside a former pig farm, contains tanks and other military equipment. The group has said the armored vehicles with camouflage paint and heavy weapons stored there are part of a museum to honor Soviet World War II troops. |
