Position Overview
Led a highly skilled team of 54 personnel consisting of seven subordinate organizations with a $10M annual operations budget. Responsible for all aspects of operations for a high functioning organization; trained for special operations combat operations globally, administrative functions, coordination with external agencies and organizations.
Achievements
• Successfully led an element of specially selected members of the USA’s National Mission Force to rescue the President of Afghanistan (Hamid Karzai) after a failed assassination attempt.
• Hand selected by the Commander, Joint Special Operations Command to lead the Command’s Quick Reaction Force for contingency response in Afghanistan and Iraq.
• Ensured constant organizational readiness of personnel and equipment with the requirement for a no-notice contingency global deployment in support of U.S. government policies and objectives.
• Designed and executed an operational training event for 180 highly skilled personnel, 52 managers and supervisors for the worldwide employment in support of U.S. government policies and objectives. |
