After graduating from University of Alabama where she majored in journalism, she moved to Wasghington DC where she was hired by the Daily Caller as an entertainment reporter. Covered the 2016 Presidential Campaign. Jan, 2017 named Daily Caller's White House Correspondent. While she was still with The Daily Caller, Collins was invited to make several appearances on CNN. While still at Daily Caller, at a White House correspondent event in spring 2017, she met CNN network president Jeff Zucker and thanked him for having her on CNN despite the ideological nature of her current employer. Collins was subsequently interviewed by CNN and hired to join its White House team in July 2017. |
