In 2009, Mr. Glin joined the Obama Administration as the first Director of Intergovernmental Affairs and Global Partnerships for the Peace Corps. In this newly established office, Mr. Glin is responsible for developing and implementing the agency’s policy and strategy for establishing and maintaining partnerships with other Executive Branch agencies, multilateral organizations such as the United Nations and the World Bank, international NGOs and the private sector with particular focus on the contribution of the agency’s more than 8000 Volunteers to U.S. global development efforts around food security, global health and education, youth development and the environment. |
