Resigned spring 2025
Attention ESD Community,
At the ESD Board Meeting on January 13, 2025, board member Heather Booth announced her resignation from the Elizabeth School District Board of Directors.
Booth had been serving as Vice President of the board since April of 2023. She was elected to the board in November of 2021.
“Heather was a dedicated board member who put her heart and soul into the leadership on the board,” says ESD Superintenent Dan Snowberger. “Her service will be sincerely missed and we wish her well as she addresses her health needs. We also know that she will remain a strong supporter of the school district.”
At the meeting, Booth read a letter describing her personal health struggles as the reason behind the resignation.
“Serving on this board has been a great honor. Together, we’ve faced challenges, celebrated milestones, and worked tirelessly to improve the educational experiences of the students in our district. It has been a true privilege to serve alongside such dedicated and passionate individuals.”
Anyone interested in filling the role can submit a letter of interest to the board clerk. The deadline for submissions is Friday, January 24th by 5 p.m. |
