Jon Frankel

Jon Frankel joined ZwillGen PLLC as counsel in 2012. He advises clients on data privacy and security, e-commerce, intellectual property, telecommunications and litigation matters. Jon assists clients in generating online revenues, protecting their intellectual property, mitigating risks, and adapting their business models to the ever-changing Internet, e-commerce and technology laws. Jon provides advice and counsel on Internet business models, drafts and negotiates various e-commerce and technology contracts, conducts regulatory and IP audits of client websites and online businesses, and represents clients in privacy, marketing, data security breach, domain name and DMCA disputes. Prior to joining ZwillGen, Jon was a partner in the Washington, D.C. office of Bingham McCutchen, LLP, where he co-chaired the Privacy and Security Group and was a member of the Telecommunications, Media and Technology group.
