Donna K Martin

Donna Martin is senior vice president and chief Human Resources officer for Ameren Corporation. In May 2002, Ms. Martin assumed responsibility for Ameren’s Human Resources Function, which includes employment, recruitment, organizational training and development, compensation, human resources systems, and benefits management. For 15 years, Ms. Martin worked at Bell Atlantic Company in Arlington, Va., where she directed performance improvement, management services and served as group director for Human Resources before being promoted to the position of executive director for benefits. She also served in various sales, marketing and operations positions while at Bell Atlantic. Her background also includes 10 years in the education field. Ms. Martin is credited with successfully managing the acquisition and integration of multiple organizations, with developing and implementing talent management systems and staffing and recruiting systems and processes and with building organizational capability to match business strategies. She has created performance management and succession planning programs and led a range of domestic and global human resources initiatives.
