Stephen Fleischmann

Stephen graduated from the Buckley School in New York City, the Hotchkiss School and Yale University, Class of 1975. Stephen had worked at the ''New Yorker'' magazine, founded by his grandfather Raoul H. Fleischmann. Other pursuits included medical research with Dr. Samuel Perry at New York Hospital, real estate development and private investing. Son of the late Nancy M. Schmidt and the late Peter F. Fleischmann, and stepson of Jeanne C. Fleischmann and the late Benno C. Schmidt. Survived by his loving sister Ruth G. Fleischmann, his brother James R. Fleischmann, his stepmother Jeanne C. Fleischmann, and his stepbrother David Wilson. He will be dearly missed by his Schmidt stepbrothers, Benno, Ralph, John and Bill, and their families and by his many friends. Devoted and beloved uncle to Kate, Nancy, Ruth and Russell Planitzer.
